Our History
1977
Especifer was founded with the purpose of developing specialized tools that would revolutionize the automotive industry.
The company emerged from a passion for industrialization and a desire to deliver solutions that truly make a difference in the day-to-day operations of workshops and assembly plants.
Tradition, Innovation and
Excellence since 1977
From its early years, Especifer gained recognition for its ability to create tailor-made solutions for demanding clients. Even in the 1980s, it was already serving major brands such as Massey Ferguson, Valtra, and New Holland. Over time, it strengthened partnerships with industry giants like Honda, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Renault, Scania, Volkswagen, and many others—both within and outside of Brazil.
With a focus on technology and continuous evolution, it expanded its portfolio to more than 25 solution lines, and in 2012 began its international operation in Argentina, officially becoming a multinational company. In the following years, it expanded its global presence with the opening of a unit in Mexico, strengthening its operations in Latin America and North America.
Starting in 2010, we established a presence at the main industry trade shows, such as Automec, Fenatran, and Agrishow. In 2012, we officially became a multinational company with the opening of our unit in Argentina. And in 2013, we strengthened our portfolio in electronic diagnostics and tooling.
Between 2014 and 2017, we sponsored major events such as Toyota’s SKILL CONTEST, signed a global contract with JACTO, expanded our partnership with Mercedes-Benz, and celebrated our 40th anniversary with the third generation of the family already working at the company.
From 2018 to 2021, we advanced in the electric vehicle segment with Renault and VW. We developed innovative solutions such as smart glasses and digital platforms. And we continue to grow with large groups like Stellantis and partnerships with companies like TEXA.
Today, with over 48 years of experience, Especifer maintains its leadership in OEM and OES solutions, invests in specialized engineering, promotes training through the Especifer Academy, and adopts sustainable practices that reflect its commitment to the future. The company combines tradition and innovation to continue being a benchmark in special tools and equipment.
